Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. In this rewarding contract opportunity, your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist will support students' communication, learning, and social success. Current openings include a full-time elementary assignment for the 2026-27 year, as well as maternity leave coverage from August-November and October-January. In this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic educational team and truly make a difference for students.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior success or strong interest working in elementary school settings Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration abilities Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language assessment, intervention, and support tailored to individual student needs Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with families and school staff Document progress and maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes Support a positive and inclusive educational environment for all learners
