Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a dynamic school environment near Chicago, IL. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SLP who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and seeks to support children's communication skills and academic success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current SLP licensure in Illinois Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive educational outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities Engage in data-driven decision-making to adjust and support student progress Serve as a resource to educational staff for strategies and interventions related to speech and language development As a valued contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll enjoy a supportive work environment, the chance to build your clinical expertise, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in students' school experiences.
