Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact on students' lives while advancing your Speech-Language Pathology career in a dynamic school environment near Cicero, IL. This contract position is ideal for professionals enthusiastic about supporting children's communication development, whether you specialize in in-person or teletherapy services. Both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply and bring their expertise to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary educational team.
Qualifications/Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Illinois Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed Experience with pediatric populations, including elementary and secondary students Skilled at delivering services in both traditional and teletherapy settings Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, families, and school staffWhat You'll Be Doing:
Conduct comprehensive student assessments, both individually and in groups Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress Provide direct and consultative services in-person and remotely as needed Maintain accurate records, evaluation reports, and progress documentation Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team consultations Support a positive learning atmosphere and empower students to reach their fullest potential This opportunity provides a fulfilling role supporting children's learning journeys, professional growth through collaboration, and the chance to leverage your skills in an educational setting.
