This contract role runs from September 29, 2026 to June 9, 2027, with both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time options available to fit your schedule. Key Qualifications & Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement Active Illinois SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required Experience with school-age students, ideally middle school Adaptability to support students at one or multiple school sites, as caseloads and locations may vary
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 45 students, adhering to state workload models Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain accurate documentation Support students language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication skills within a supportive school environment Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams This role is open to both experienced professionals and newer clinicians who are passionate about serving diverse communities.
