Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

2026-27 EduTherapy 360 is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, school-based opportunity in Ford Heights, Illinois . This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for a flexible schedule, small caseload, and limited weekly hours.

Tuesday-Friday Primary Focus:
Evaluations and IEPs Work Setting:
100% In-Person Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations Develop and update student IEPs Complete required documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff Participate in IEP meetings as required Qualifications Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and documentation skills
