Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication and academic success as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. Two dedicated SLP professionals will collaborate with school staff to provide exceptional speech and language services throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Located near Forsyth, IL, this opportunity is ideal for SLPs who thrive in dynamic educational environments and are passionate about student growth.
Ideal Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Illinois SLP license and appropriate certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are considered Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in working in educational settings Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and data-driven intervention Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse student population Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs Participate actively in IEP meetings, working closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress reports Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups Support students' social, academic, and communication skills to maximize their educational experiences You'll have the chance to build strong connections with students, educators, and families.
