Speech Language Pathologist in Grayslake, IL BlazerJobs - 3.4 Grayslake, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $42.13 - $61.40 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Professional Educator License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. Four full-time positions are currently available for the 2026-2027 school year, with start dates tentatively set to align with new hire orientation from August 12th to August 14th. This role is exclusively onsite and offers the chance to develop your expertise while positively impacting students across a range of grades. Strong Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois SLP license (please provide screenshot as proof) Current Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (screenshot required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or strong CF accepted Experience or coursework in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to serve students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language assessment, therapy, and consultation for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes Provide recommendations and support regarding communication and language development Participate in IEP meetings, student progress reviews, and orientation activities Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of both individual students and groups
