Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students and collaborating with education professionals in an engaging, school-based environment. Two full-time SLP positions are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing an excellent chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among students as part of the educational team Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families Provide direct therapy services and engage in progress monitoring Maintain up-to-date documentation and schedule, complying with state and federal regulations Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and support strategies Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture
