Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by joining a supportive elementary and middle school environment as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals seeking a dynamic setting near Hillside, IL, where collaboration and student growth are at the heart of daily work. Enjoy a single-campus assignment, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students across Pre-K through 8th grade. You'll support a wide range of needs, from students with Autism Spectrum Disorder to those requiring only speech articulation services, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and intervention.
Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Illinois SLP license (or eligibility) Experience with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting Excellent communication and documentation skills Collaborative spirit for working with teachers and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver therapy to students with a variety of needs in group and 1:1 settings Document progress and maintain detailed records in line with school protocols Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success Provide guidance to staff and parents regarding communication strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pm; 35 hours per week) offering the chance to build strong relationships in one school community. The variety in caseload ensures you'll expand your clinical skills while making a daily impact.
