Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist this summer. A contract opportunity is available to provide vital ESY SLP services across elementary and high school settings, with the possibility of working at up to three different sites. This rewarding role allows you to engage with diverse learners and support their communication needs as part of a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) Active CCC-SLP and current state licensure Bilingual skills required for effective student support School-based experience preferred Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
Position Highlights:
Deliver bilingual speech and language services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program Offer direct support and intervention for elementary and high school students Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff across potentially three local school sites Participate in a planning/work day on May 29th (8:00-11:00am) ESY program runs from June 1st to June 30th, with daily staff hours from 7:45am-12:00pm (4.25 paid hours per day) Implement individualized therapy plans and document student progress accurately This summer assignment offers the chance to inspire growth and confidence in students while building valuable school-based experience.
