Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Joliet, Illinois for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, school-based opportunity offers a dynamic K-8 caseload supporting diverse student populations. Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to K-8 students with a cross-categorical caseload
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Address a range of communication needs including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per IDEA and Illinois state guidelines Position Overview
- Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week
- Diverse caseload: K-8 cross-categorical

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois SLP License (or eligibility)
ASHA CCC-SLP
