Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take advantage of an opportunity to make a difference by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive educational setting. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated SLP, requiring just 2 hours a week, making it a great option for professionals seeking flexibility or wishing to supplement their current schedule. Work closely with students to help them reach important communication goals while collaborating with a dynamic school team near Joliet, IL.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Active state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session attendance Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning and communication Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Deliver therapy sessions on-site according to the school's scheduling needs Imagine making a meaningful impact with a manageable, part-time commitment, all while maintaining your work-life balance.
