Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will deliver vital evaluation and therapeutic services to our residents, helping them overcome communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges to enhance their functional independence and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Assessments & Evaluations:
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia).
Treatment Planning:
Develop and implement customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet each resident's unique goals and functional needs.
Therapeutic Intervention:
Provide high-quality speech and dysphagia therapy sessions, utilizing advanced techniques to restore function and manage risks.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, and fellow therapy professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain precise, timely, and compliant electronic medical records of patient progress, milestones, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Qualifications Licensure:
Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Illinois.
Pay:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour
