Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication and development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, located near Lake Zurich, IL. This opportunity spans from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a full-time schedule of approximately 33.25 hours each week, providing ample time to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This is an in-person position, focused on driving student success and empowering learners through effective therapy and collaboration. Qualifications Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Direct experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Effective communicator who thrives working closely with students, staff, and parents Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture Key Responsibilities Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in groups Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding strategies for student success Experience an enriching school year where your expertise is valued and your presence truly makes a difference in students' futures.
