Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students near Loves Park as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity—37.5 hours weekly—offers a supportive environment focused on both your success and student progress, with orientation starting August 3 and the first day with students on August 11, 2026. The placement will reflect your professional strengths and interests, ensuring a tailored experience throughout the assignment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current or eligible Illinois SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status Strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative spirit Passion for working in a school-based setting with a diverse student body
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress Work closely with educators, families, and support personnel to maximize student outcomes Participate in monthly meetings, roundtables, and collaborative discussions with peers Engage in annual performance reviews and continual process improvement initiatives Attend orientation and ongoing professional development sessions
