08/20/2026 Golf School District 67 is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential evaluation, intervention, and case management services for our students. In this role, you will collaborate with families and staff to support communication development and ensure students can meaningfully participate in their school environment, perfectly reflecting our mission: "Learning Today... ROLE OVERVIEW
Location:
Golf School District 67 (Travel between district buildings as needed)
Classification:
Licensed - Teacher | Golf Teacher and Support Staff Union
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Endorsement:
English as a Second Language (EL) endorsement is preferred, or a willingness to acquire one.
Licensure:
Must hold (or be eligible for) an Illinois Professional Education License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
Professional Growth:
Ability to participate in ongoing staff development and professional learning to implement best practices.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & GOALS
Assessment & Evaluation:
Screen and evaluate students to identify the nature and extent of speech and language needs.
Intervention & Goal Setting:
Develop and monitor individualized goals, providing direct and indirect services across various settings.
Case Management:
Serve as the case manager for students with speech-only IEPs, ensuring all timelines and documentation are compliant.
Collaborative Support:
Participate in IEP meetings and problem-solving teams, collaborating regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records, including evaluation reports, progress reports, service logs, and Medicaid documentation.
Staff Consultation:
Provide expert guidance to staff regarding language development, social communication, and instructional strategies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Activity:
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Dexterity:
Significant finger dexterity is required.
Mobility:
Generally requires 40% walking, 40% standing, and 20% sitting.
Environment:
Tasks are performed indoors and outdoors with temperature variations in a generally hazard-free environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary Range Salary will be established in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the Board of Education and the Golf Teachers and Support Staff Union Local 1274. The specific range is determined based on the candidate's education level and years of experience. Benefits Golf School District 67 offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Retirement:
