Irrigation Technician

Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using various hand tools and power tools to ensure efficient water distribution across landscapes. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components such as valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Assist with general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and soil preparation to keep outdoor spaces thriving. Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system updates to support ongoing maintenance schedules. Use horticultural knowledge to recommend improvements that enhance landscape health and sustainability. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. Familiarity with irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and general landscaping principles. Basic understanding of horticulture concepts related to plant health and soil management. Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently when required. Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in diagnosing system issues. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
