Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in students' lives as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a local school for the 26-27 school year. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide crucial speech and language interventions in person, working directly with children who benefit from your expertise.
Key Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as an SLP Preferred experience in school-based settings, but strong clinical backgrounds also considered Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse elementary and/or secondary student populations
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services following students' individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive assessments, write evaluation reports, and document student progress Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student's needs Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in IEP development and reviews Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to the educational environment Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines This part-time, in-person SLP role is a fantastic way to maintain work-life balance while staying engaged in meaningful school-based work.
