Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact on students' communication skills as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist working full-time with a diverse K-12 population. This contract opportunity, beginning immediately and concluding June 2, 2026, offers a welcoming environment near Palatine, IL, where you'll collaborate with supportive educators and families to help children thrive. As both Spanish and English proficiency are essential, fluency in both languages opens the door to meaningful connections across the school district.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state SLP license and ability to work in a school setting ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Fluency in Spanish and English Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students across a variety of needs Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities & Key Duties:
Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services to students district-wide Conduct bilingual assessments, develop individualized goals, and implement effective treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress Maintain clear documentation and reporting compliant with school guidelines Enjoy guaranteed hours with your duties focused solely within your contracted schedule—no extra district supervision such as bus or dismissal duties required Why Step Into This Role?
