Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication and language development! This position offers a contract role in a dynamic educational environment, dedicating 37.5 hours per week to positively impact young learners during the 2026-2027 academic year. With your orientation beginning August 3 and the first day with students on August 6, you'll enjoy a well-structured transition into your school-based role. Your placement will be thoughtfully matched to your background—whether you're an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY, interested in elementary, middle, or high school caseloads. You'll also have easy access to supportive supervision and a "Buddy Program," ensuring you feel confident from day one. State-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive testing materials are at your fingertips, so you can focus on helping each student reach their fullest potential.
Candidates should bring:
ASHA certification or eligibility (CCC or CFY) Relevant state licensure Experience or genuine interest in school-based SLP services Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Willingness to engage in professional development and process improvements In this dynamic setting, your responsibilities will include: Evaluating and providing interventions for students' speech and language needs Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with IEPs Working closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success Participating in monthly collaboration meetings and roundtables Engaging in process improvement initiatives and professional growth opportunities Regularly connecting with leaders through 1:1s and team meetings Utilizing an innovative intranet for real-time colleague collaboration Enjoy an environment that values teamwork, mentorship, and learning—all while fostering your career growth.
