Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity dedicated to supporting students' communication and language development within a school environment. This position is ideal for speech-language pathologists passionate about delivering quality services—and eager to make an impact in both in-person and teletherapy settings.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLP licensure, with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Background in school-based speech-language pathology, pediatric services, and healthcare settings Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation Ability to collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in various grade levels Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set clear, measurable therapy goals Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both onsite and via secure teletherapy Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences Maintain accurate, timely documentation that complies with district and state guidelines Offer ongoing support and training for educational staff related to speech and language strategies
