Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time | Peoria, IL | Birth to Age 5 Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive early childhood program in Peoria, Illinois for the full school year. This full-time opportunity serves children from birth through age five in Head Start and Early Head Start programs, providing meaningful intervention during the most critical years of development. Position Details Full-time Full school year Birth to age 5 caseload Head Start and Early Head Start programs Travel between three program sites with a designated home base Responsibilities Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for young children in early childhood settings. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and educational teams. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with the local school district to ensure quality services. Support home visitors by providing consultation and intervention strategies when outlined in a child's IFSP or IEP. Empower parents with strategies and resources to encourage communication development at home. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements.
