What We're Looking For:

Valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required Ability to provide a screenshot verifying active credentials upon application Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Commitment to onsite workremote or hybrid options not available Capacity to manage a caseload of up to 60 students for those seeking full-time hours (starting with around 30 students) SLPAs or Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to high school students, focusing on educational impact Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students progress Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state policies Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school community within the scheduled hours: 7:55 AM 3:25
