Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis. This position is conveniently located near Plainfield, IL, offering a set Monday through Friday schedule from 7:35am to 3:05pm. You'll focus on kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, managing a caseload of 25-30 children in an environment where your expertise is valued and your plans are supported by a pre-established schedule designed for smooth push-in services.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Experience with K-2nd grade populations preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to provide engaging therapy in push-in settings
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-2 students within general education classrooms Utilize the provided, fully developed schedule for efficient service delivery Modify and adapt therapeutic activities to meet individual student needs Offer direct and consultative support to teachers and staff Track student progress, contribute to IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation Foster positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members Enjoy the structure of a predictable, school-based schedule and the satisfaction of working hands-on with a supportive educational team.
