Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language services in a supportive school setting on a part-time basis. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking flexibility while working with students in need of communication support.
Required Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience in a school environment is preferred Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students for two hours each week Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders Conduct formal and informal evaluations of students' speech and language abilities Collaborate effectively as part of an educational team to support student success Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress, ensuring documentation complies with district and legal guidelines Communicate regularly with family members and teachers regarding student needs and progress This opportunity allows for a balanced work commitment, making it well-suited for professionals seeking additional hours or looking for a manageable schedule.
