Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Illinois SLP license required PEL (Professional Educator License) required Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language services to K-12 students with diverse needs Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and monitor progress Provide direct intervention and consult with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals Document services and results according to state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Educate students, staff, and families regarding effective strategies for improving communication skills
