Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Illinois Experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads Background in working with early childhood, elementary, or K12 populations Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative therapy services based on student needs Collaborate closely with teachers and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations
