Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and Professional Educator License (PEL), or eligibility to obtain Preferred 1-2 years' experience as an SLP, especially at the high school level Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, supportive setting Flexibility and adept problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students ages 2 to 22 Perform comprehensive diagnostics and evaluations Prepare detailed, insightful reports based on observations and student assessments Address assistive technology and augmentative communication needs, voice/articulation, oral-motor function, and language development Support students with moderate to severe disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor IEP objectives Collaborate and communicate effectively with families and school teams
