Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with a passion for supporting students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) services for both elementary and high school students, taking place at multiple sites in a collaborative educational environment. The assignment runs from June 1st through June 30th, with staff planning on May 29th (8:00-11:00 am) and work hours from 7:45 am to 12:00 pm each day, offering 4.25 paid hours daily.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited graduate program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Bilingual skills to serve diverse student populations Experience with school-based or pediatric SLP preferred Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
What You'll Do:
Deliver bilingual ESY SLP services for elementary and high school students Travel between up to three different educational sites as needed Evaluate and document student progress while maintaining clear communication with staff and families Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and support personnel to promote student engagement and growth Utilize AAC devices and evidence-based techniques to maximize student participation and communication This position is ideal for professionals who value variety, thrive on making a difference in young lives, and are looking to work in a supportive, school-focused environment.
