Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) in a school-based setting near Roscoe, IL. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll play a key part in fostering student communication skills from August 2026 through the end of May 2027. You'll kick off with orientation on August 3, followed by the first day with students on August 11. Enjoy a placement that aligns with your expertise and interests, supported every step of the way.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility; open to both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY) Experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaboration Ability to manage caseloads and implement evidence-based interventions
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collect and analyze data on student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and family communication Utilize a full array of testing materials and equipment provided Engage in process improvement to enhance service delivery and outcomes Collaborate consistently with a team of SLPs, including scheduled meetings, roundtables, and support from an experienced supervisor Benefit from a thorough orientation and "Buddy Program" that eases your transition
