Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Looking to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while utilizing your bilingual skills? A unique opportunity is available for a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist who is fluent in Spanish and English to support a diverse K-12 student population on a full-time basis. This contract position will allow you to expand your experience in school settings with a supportive team and guaranteed hours.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Open to Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC or those pursuing CFY Experience or strong interest in working in a school environment across K-12 is highly valued
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students Deliver both direct and indirect services as part of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Document progress and maintain organized records aligned with school district standards Focus solely on speech-related duties—no additional responsibilities such as bus duty or parent pickup are required Enjoy the perks of guaranteed hours, a clearly defined role, and eligibility for stipends if you are a travel therapist.
