Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role serving students in grades K-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Four full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, with new hire orientation scheduled from August 12th through 14th. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting student achievement and communication needs in an onsite educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) encouraged to apply Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued Ability to provide documentation of licenses (please submit a screenshot of current licensure status) Adaptability to varying caseloads and grade assignments (K-12; specific details to be determined)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Conduct assessments, deliver therapy sessions, and complete progress monitoring and reporting Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student goals are met Remain onsite for direct service and team meetings—remote work is not available for this position
