Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) in a dynamic school setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference in K-5 students' communication and learning journeys. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 25-30 students, housed within a single elementary school, fostering strong relationships and consistent growth. The school year begins August 17, 2026, and ends May 28, 2027—with initial staff training to be scheduled prior to the start date.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a plus, but CFYs are warmly welcomed Previous school-based experience or strong pediatric experience preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to K-5th grade students Develop, implement, and update IEPs, including goal-setting and progress monitoring Serve as a key resource for teachers, staff, and parents with consultation and support Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to achieve student-focused outcomes Maintain accurate records and document services according to school and federal guidelines This role offers clear scheduling—35.5 hours per week, with consistent hours from 8:25am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday—promoting work-life balance alongside a structured, supportive environment.
