We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team in Silvis, Illinois. As a Speech Therapist at Silvis Center Rehab and Care, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their communication skills and independence.
Summary:
Provide speech therapy services to patients with communication disorders, including speech, language, and cognitive deficits Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve communication skills Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and address patient needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' communication skills and develop treatment plans to address identified deficits Conduct speech therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices and techniques Implement and modify therapy interventions to meet patient needs and goals Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and providers to support patient care Participate in patient education and training programs to promote independence and self-advocacy
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Familiarity with electronic medical records and therapy software How to
