Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working onsite with students for the 2026-2027 school year as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Contribute your expertise in an environment dedicated to fostering student growth and communication skills. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Hold current licensure in Illinois as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Recent experience working in school settings, providing services to elementary or secondary students Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Proficient in implementing IEP goals and conducting evaluations Comfortable working in-person with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Provide direct intervention sessions according to IEPs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for integrated student support Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
