Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in a school setting near Tinley Park, IL. This full-time contract role runs from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek. As a key resource for students ages 3 to 21, your expertise will support their communication and development in a collaborative educational environment. This position is fully in-person, allowing you to work directly with students and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Illinois SLP license required Professional Educator License (PEL) mandatory Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred Ability to support students across a range of ages and abilities (early childhood through transition-aged young adults) Strong communication and organizational skills Collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with IEPs and school goals Assess and document student progress, maintaining proper records Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and related service staff Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs Provide support and training for families and staff as needed Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
