Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school and transition-aged students for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details
Location:
Vernon Hills, IL and surrounding area- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PMStart Date:
August 18, 2026End Date:
June 2, 2027- High school and transition-aged student population Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services to students with complex communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Develop and implement IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students using assistive and augmentative communication technology Qualifications
- Active Illinois SLP License
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with assistive technology/AAC required
- Experience supporting students with complex needs required
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Why Apply
