Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school and transition-aged students for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details
    Location:
    Vernon Hills, IL and surrounding area
    • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
      Start Date:
      August 18, 2026
        End Date:
        June 2, 2027
        • High school and transition-aged student population Responsibilities
        • Provide speech and language services to students with complex communication needs
        • Conduct evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation
        • Develop and implement IEP goals
        • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
        • Support students using assistive and augmentative communication technology Qualifications
        • Active Illinois SLP License
        • Previous school-based experience preferred
        • Experience working with assistive technology/AAC required
        • Experience supporting students with complex needs required
        • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Why Apply

        Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
