Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language services across a diverse K-12 student population. This full-time, contract role is ideal for a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist fluent in both Spanish and English. Located near Waukegan, IL, you'll make a meaningful impact district-wide, supporting communication growth for students of all ages. The position is set to begin immediately and will run through June 2, 2026. Travel therapy professionals are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for stipends.
Key Qualifications:
Current Illinois state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience or interest in providing services within a school setting across grades K-12 Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students district-wide Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and student support teams to facilitate academic and social success Focus exclusively on SLP responsibilities during contracted hours—no additional duties such as bus or lunch supervision required
