Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Desired Background:
Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or SLP Assistants (SLPA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP applicants Experience in school-based settings and working with elementary-age children (required) Familiarity with Medicaid Billing is highly desirable Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with educational professionals Comfortable managing a diverse K-5 caseload within one building
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapy services and interventions tailored to individual student needs Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop and implement IEPs Support students in achieving their speech and language goals Maintain compliance with school, district, and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
