Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Crown Point, IN, serving elementary and middle school populations for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers a full-time schedule averaging 37.5 hours per week and requires managing caseloads primarily within school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school buildings. Manage and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal school regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid School SLP credential. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working within K-12 school environments. Ability to manage caseloads between 45-55 students across multiple buildings. Open to candidates with VOCO certification.
Assignment Details:
Contract duration from August 2026 (TBD start date) through May 2027 (TBD end date).
Caseload distribution:
First SLP covers one elementary and one middle school building. Second SLP covers two middle school buildings. Expected caseload per SLP ranges from 45 to 55 students. Position entails working primarily in one building with flexibility across assigned schools.
