The Opportunity A nutrition focused Pet Boutique With Two Locations We are a growing, Nutrition-focused pet boutique with two locations, looking for a hands-on retail manager who knows how to turn great products, knowledgeable staff, and strong customer relationships into consistent sales growth. We are currently expanding to include a pet deli and bakery and need a passionate go getter with ideas and skills. A sales-driven leader who takes ownership sets clear goals, holds themselves and their team accountable, and genuinely cares about educating customers on nutrition, quality products and excitement. Your Core Responsibilities Sales Leadership Own and consistently drive sales goals across two locations Anlalyze sales trends and take proactive action to improve performace Create and execute in store events, promotions, and community outreach that drive traffic and revenue Coach staff on sellling skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement Lead by example on the sales floor- this is a working manager role Team building Hire train and develop a high performing retail team Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable to results and standards Schedule effectively to maximize coverage and sales opportunities Utilize marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and increase foot traffic. Custopmer Experience Deliver an exceptional, education based customer experience Build long term customer relationships through trust and expertise Handle escalated customer concerns with a solutions based mindset Ensure consistent service standards across both locations Inventory Buying & Merchandising Track, maintain, and optimize inventory levels to support sales and reduce shrink Place and mange orders with vendors; understand buying cycles and margins Merchandise products strategically to maximize visibiltiy and sell-through Maintain clean, organized, and visually compelling store environments Operations & Problem solving Identify issues quickly and implement practical, effective solutions Maintain operational standards, policies and procedures Ensure accuracy in inventory counts, receiving, and stock management Adapt to changing priorities while keeping stores running smoothly Foster a positive, motivated customer focused culture - NO DRAMA What We're Looking For Proven experience in retail management, ideally in specialty retail (Pet, nutrition, wellness, or similar) Strong sales mindset with a track record of driving revenue Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do Confident leader who can hire, train, and motivate a team Highly customer-service oriented with strong communication skills Organized and detail-driven, especially with inventory and merchandising Solutions-focused problem solver who stays calm under pressure
