Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Evansville, Indiana. This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working with adults and seniors and helping patients improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall functional independence.Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment within scope of practice Address cognitive deficits affecting memory, problem-solving, safety, and daily function Collaborate with nursing, dietary, PT, OT, physicians, and other team members Educate patients, families, and caregivers Complete accurate and timely documentation Participate in discharge planningQualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Indiana SLP license or ability to obtain CCC-SLP preferred; appropriately supervised CF candidates may be considered SNF, rehabilitation, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred Strong communication and interdisciplinary skills Why Apply? $50- 55/hour Full-time hours Consistent caseload Collaborative interdisciplinary team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery Indiana requires SLPs practicing in the state to hold the appropriate Indiana license.
