Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated educational team and make a measurable difference in children's communication skills. The position is set to begin on July 27 and runs the duration of the school year, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Desired Background:
Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or certification SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations Background in school settings or healthcare environments supporting children's communication needs Experience or proficiency with teletherapy services for remote or hybrid instruction Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Key Duties:
Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student success Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Track student progress and adapt interventions as needed Engage in teletherapy sessions as required based on student and school needs Imagine delivering impactful therapy in a positive and collaborative environment while maintaining a balanced weekly schedule.
