Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services and support for students' communication and learning needs. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP who finds fulfillment in evaluations and meaningful collaboration, working onsite alongside another dedicated professional who serves nonverbal life skills learners.
Key qualifications:
Holds an active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required Prior experience in school settings preferred Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work Role responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 50-70 students Work closely with another onsite SLP to coordinate evaluations and support interventions, specifically for nonverbal and life skills-focused students Collaborate effectively with educational staff to contribute to student progress and individualized education plans Maintain accurate records, prepare evaluation reports, and participate in meetings as needed Deliver high-quality, student-centered speech-language services in compliance with district and professional standards This full-time, contract position (37.5 hours per week, August 2026 through June 2027) offers the chance to focus your expertise on impactful evaluations within a supportive team.
