A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation Job Description Looking for flexibility without sacrificing hours? Rehab Strategies is expanding our therapy team and seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This is a PRN position with the opportunity for consistent or even full-time hours , depending on your availability and preference. Whether you're looking to supplement your current schedule or build a larger caseload, we would love to talk with you. As part of Rehab Strategies, you'll join a growing therapy organization focused on providing quality, patient-centered rehabilitation while giving our clinicians the support and flexibility they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and goals Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and strategies Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Indiana SLP license or ability to obtain
ASHA CCC-SLP
