Responsibilities Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals Provide evidence-based therapy to pediatric and/or adult patients in assigned settings Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and educators to coordinate care Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs Participate in care conferences and contribute to interdisciplinary planning Maintain compliance with state licensure, facility policies, and professional standards Use clinical judgment to adjust interventions and update goals as needed Support RCM Healthcare Services' mission by delivering high-quality, ethical patient care Required Skills Speech and language assessment Swallowing (dysphagia) assessment and management Development and implementation of treatment plans Clinical documentation and EMR use Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) familiarity Pediatric and/or adult language intervention Speech sound and fluency disorder treatment Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and family education Cultural competence in patient care
