A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based, contracted position near Zionsville, IN for the 26/27 school semester. This opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about working with children and adolescents from preschool to 12th grade. Serving multiple school sites, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a team of dedicated educators and professionals, impacting students across diverse environments. This position offers a high caseload, with approximately half comprised of non-pub students, providing variety in your day and unique learning opportunities. Create meaningful connections and develop tailored interventions that support communication growth across different student populations.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations as assigned Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse student needs Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to a broad range of students with varying speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Effectively manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality of service Maintain consistent and accurate documentation to monitor student progress Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff to foster student success Adapt strategies and supports for both public and non-public placements As you thrive in this richly rewarding environment, enjoy the flexibility and professional growth that comes with a contract role.
