Contribute your expertise in fostering communication skills for both special education and general education populations throughout the school year. Key Qualifications:
Current Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license required CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP credentials accepted Prior experience or interest in school-based speech therapy (elementary to high-school settings) Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators Understanding of IEP process, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability in dynamic educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy and interventions for caseloads including both special education (SI) and general education students Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and write progress reports for Individualized Education Programs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student success and access to curriculum Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to district and compliance standards Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, student planning sessions, and team consultations Provide support and resources to staff regarding language, speech, and communication needs This contract role offers a chance to broaden your professional experience while making a meaningful impact in a vibrant educational community.
