Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting their communication development for the remainder of the school year! This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about advancing speech and language skills in educational settings. With multiple openings available, roles can be tailored to your specific background and interests—perfect for both seasoned Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC, CFY) and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. Caseloads will be thoughtfully matched to your experience level and area of preference, ensuring a rewarding experience that aligns with your strengths.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA Experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings Comfortable with full-time hours for the entire school year Teletherapy experience is a plus for select openings Compassion, adaptability, and collaboration skills Strong organizational and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff for integrated care Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education planning Offer both onsite and, for some needs, teletherapy services
