Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students while utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity near Plainfield, IN, offers 37.5 hours per week and begins July 27th, running throughout the full school year. You'll make a tangible impact on the development of children in an educational setting, helping them achieve their communication and learning goals. Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Indiana Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in Pediatrics and school-based settings Comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy service models Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs Ability to manage caseload efficiently and independently As a Speech-Language Pathologist on this contract, your primary responsibilities will include: Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop student IEP goals Delivering direct and consultative therapy sessions, both in-person and virtually Participating in team meetings and contributing expertise to support student success Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Educating families and staff on communication strategies By stepping into this position, you will develop your professional skills, work with a supportive community, and make a difference in children's lives over the school year.
